The Cards
Rummy Uses the Standard Deck of 52 Playing Cards

Deck: A standard plying deck of 52 cards from low to high, Example: Ace 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Jack Queen & King) According to Rummy rules this card game Rummy further observes a targeted score and that to be agreed before the beginning of the play.


Dealing the Cards
The Deal: The basic requirement to play Rummy is to choose the first dealer randomly. The deciding process: Each player may start drawing a single card from the deck and ultimately the player with the lowest card will get the chance to deal first. The turn to deal further shall alternate in presence of two players, each of them getting ten (13) cards. It will rotate clock wise.

The dealer shall deal the cards one at a time, starting with the player to his left, and further continue till every one gets the required number of cards. The remaining cards then need to be kept face down to form the stockpile. And the next card or the top card has to be placed face up next to the stock to start the discard pile. The players can examine and sort their cards once this process is over.

Object of the Game
The object of each round of the game is to be the first player to get rid of all your cards remaining in One's hand. After the initial draw, the players can meld, lay off and discard to get rid of their cards

Playing the Game
The player to the dealer's left starts.
The Play:
Each player then will start to draw a card either from the stock or the discard pile. If some one draws from the stock, he can well add the card without showing it to the other players. But if a card has been drawn from the discard pile, the opponent players will certainly have the idea about that card, as the discard pile is face up.

Melding: If a player possesses a valid group or sequence in his hand, then he may lay one of such combination face up in front of him. But he cannot meld more than one combination in a turn, as the Rummy rule never permits any player to do the same. Melding is optional; and observes two kinds of combinations that a player can meld and that includes a) Set (or a group) and b) Run (or a sequence).

A SET (or group): A player having at least three cards of a same value or rank such as 7d, 7h, 7s.

A RUN (or sequence): A player having three or more cards of the same suit in a sequence or consecutive order, such as 4c, 5c, 6c + or 8h, 9h, 10h, Jh. For reasons of strategy and /or to declare Rummy later in the game the player may choose not to meld on a particular turn with an intention to gain bonus. And the player, by any means is not violating the Rummy rules.

Laying off: (This is optional too). The player can add card or cards to the melds, which have been previously placed by him or the others. The cards added to a meld once again according to Rummy rules must form another legitimate meld. For example: If there exists a run of 4c, 5c, 6c you may further add 3c or 7c. Rearranging the melds in the process is not permitted. And a player can lay off any number of card or cards in one turn.

Discarding: (according to Rummy rules this compulsory). At the end of each players turn, one card must be discarded and to be placed on top of the discard pile face up. If a player has already picked up the top card of the discard pile while beginning his turn, he will not be allowed to end that turn by discarding the same card. He must discard a different card. But if he draws a card from the stock, it can further be discarded on the same turn.

What next if the stockpile runs out? Commonly the Rummy rules observes that while playing, if the stock pile runs out and the very next player disagrees to take the discard, the discard pile then can be turned over to form a new stock, and that is to be done without shuffling, and thus the play will continue. Or, if the stock runs out, the next player is also having the option to draw from the discard pile or even can turn the discard pile over to form a fresh stock. The discard pile usually is not shuffled in the process. And once the new stock is formed the top card is further drawn to form the new discard pile. But some latest versions given in most of the books confirm, that some play permits to shuffles the discard pile before reusing it as a new stock and that is to safe guard the game, as if there is no shuffle, the players with sharp memories can take undue advantage by keeping the order of the cards in the discard pile well in their mind.

Going Out or Ending the hand: Winning an individual hand means a player ultimately has got rid of all his cards either by melding, laying off, or discarding. And getting rid of the last card additionally means that a player has ended his hand well before the other players by adopting any one of these ways. It is also called as going out. And the Rummy rules once again indicate that, once a player goes out, the hand comes to an end and there remain no option for any player for further melding or laying off, even though they are holding valid combinations in their hands.

Scoring:
When a player moves out, the remaining player starts counting up the value of their cards, as according to the Rummy rules each card left in other players hand are countable and further to be added in winners cumulative score. The point scoring is done according to the value of the cards. Aces count as 1, face cards (K, Q and J) count as 10, and the number Cards are worth their face value - for example: 6s is worth 6 points; 7d is worth 7 points, and so on. According to some houses rules the Aces may be determined as high and shall carry a value of 15 points. . The game continues with further hands until a player reaches the previously agreed upon target score. This has been observed that during the last couple of years, the Rummy’s most variants have gone online. Rummy players, globally, are having the options to play Rummy Online and further to enjoy the variety of Rummy’s diversified qualities. Here the Table Shows 3 is Open Joker. This Joker can be used both in Sets and Runs.

Balance Cards A,2 Diamonds & 7,8 Spades. We are ready with 3 Melds and to Make last one Meld we have to get from these cards A,2 Diamonds & 7,8 Spades.




So Picking Cards from Stock Pile and Dropping on Discard Pile finally we made 4 Melds and now we have to SHOW the Game, by Closing 7 Spade.














7 Spade card was Closed by Clicking on Show Button, System asking for Confirmation.














Now as we made 4 Meld of Cards, Now its time to Declare the Melds.

Player Duwarakesh has made mistake by Melding Smaller cards which resulting for 45 Score, he even can Place Joker 3 Instead of between 6 8 Clubs to Make 6 7 8 Sequence, he can make Joker to place between 10,8,7 Spades which sequence become 7,8,9,10 Spades. Then Score to be Counted will be 6,8 Clubs + 5,7 Hearts + 4Club & 4 Spade.
6+8+5+7+4+4 = 34 Score.
So by above its Clear that its one player talent how to meld cards Properly to show the Least Score.
